i know epiphone has released a version of his famous EJ-160 w/ pickups & authentic looking vol/tone knobs. but on John Lennons original EJ160, did he install the pickups & knobs himself? or was it built for him?
The EJ160 came standard like that with a stripped down P90 by the soundhole.
